Lake Side Shallow

I just got a dog yesterday… I’m a bad shopper haha. It wasn’t completely on the spot, I spent a good 4 hours thinking about it. And I’m still thinking about it.

She’s a rotti cross, probably with germ shep. She’s black and tan with white patches. She’s really calm. Playful, but nervous and scared. She was a rescued stray. About 5 months and 30 lbs.
Expected to get about 50.

I can take care of her, train her and love her. But I’m unsure if the place I’m going to live in will allow me to have a dog of that size? I hope so, that’s the only thing that scares me. I guess if I can’t take her with me then I’ll give her to my room mates who are moving into a basement sweet with friends.
Well I don’t have to worry about this until July so I can just enjoy her until then.
Man I’m nervous. What will my parents say?

Oh and I got a 3DS :) lol

Frick, it’s cold.
I’m waiting for my first bus. Heading to work early for a meeting with the ‘Super Pro’ team for possible potential promotion.

(They’re not really called the ‘super pro’ team but I can’t be blunt obvious. Gotta be super confidential about my job.)

So last week, the band I had joined 3 mths ago had our headlining show. An epicness of awesomeness. We had some great openers and the crowd loved us!
… Except now the band leader isn’t replying to my texts.
I’ll assume positive intent, but this situation does spring up some questions:
1. What if I’m cut?
2. What will I do?

And I have answers lol.

1. Oh well, haha the bands good but not awesome. And frankly a band can only be awesome if the entire band works together and this band seems to be tyrannically run by it’s name sake, lol.
2. I’ll just have even more time to work on my stuff. I’ll start doing solo bits at shows, but one day I hope to gather a real cool group of raggedy, classy, and musically awesome individuals!

Anyway, it’s late and tomorrow is another early day at apple. So have a good night everyone. And good day to everyone too!

So I shouldn’t be posting this, but I’m not releasing anything confidential.

I have been training for the last few days at apple and tomorrow will be the last day. 

I’m really excited, they pay good money and who wouldn’t want to work in a place where your not pushed to sell like your on commission and where you can just enjoy listening to awesome music, LIKE TEH BEATLES! <3

So i did have an ortho appointment today…. Lovely… 

So i finally get a call from the place i applied at to get a job. And the hard ass on the other end offers me 11.75. Its good but not great! on top of that she makes me come in tomorrow for 1 and before I can double check anything, she makes it official. 

I realize after our conversation and after I have a few deep calming breaths that…

I WORK AT MY OTHER JOB TOMORROW TOO! 

FUCK!

To make matters even more tense, My other friend is looking into a job in an office that could potentially pay much more for doing much less. If she can get me that, then I will say ‘PEACE!’ to the bitch on the phone.  However i’m afraid of the backlash that could have on my other friend who got me that job interview. Arrgg!…

Crap this whole job thing, can’t people just pay me for being awesome? 

Happy Topless Tuesday!

I’ve started tracking my progress as i’m hitting the gym more frequently! I feel great :)

During my first year of university, I became friends with a girl who I myself had developed a crush for, however she didn’t see me as anything more than a friend. We hung out and became good buddied for the year until we went our separate ways after the year. Now she’s back in town and were hanging out again.

She texted me to set up a night where we could hang and catch up and also watch a movie. It was a good night. She’s trying to get over her ‘first love’ of a jerk guy who treated her like complete shit. So I think she’s just using me as a distraction. Not that i’m complaining about that, she’s super cool and fun; I’m just afraid i’m going to get hurt.

I think were going to hang out again this coming weekend but nothing’s set in stone. I hope that whatever happens is still fun for both of us.

So suffice to say, i failed to complete the checklist. It actually took me over 2 days.

Crap to do tomorrow.

Lets see how much I’ll actually get done!

1. Get up at 9am. (HA!)

- Ended up getting up at 11, not my fault. the alarm wasn’t working.

2. Go get new shoes (Yay for xmas gift cards!)

3. Go to home depot for house crap (curtains or shelves)

- The curtains ended up being just a few inches short. So i gotta exchange

4. Buy more bus tickets 

5. Do a water change on my tanks 

6. Make a Span.Mix CD for my friend who’s learning spanish

7. Make an appointment to get a hair cut

8. Read a book (well not the WHOLE book lol)

9. Renew membership at the gym.

10. do something fun! (pretty vague eh? i’ll let you guys be the judge if it was fun or me being lazy!)
